> Operation Iraq-Afghanistan - “Packing Day” for gifts to military families. Friday Nov. 11th from 10:00 – 4:00  at NE 124th in Totem Lake just before the Kirkland Toyota car dealership. Volunteers can come any time during that period and work 1,2 or more hours.  You do not have to register or sign up before hand and they will gladly sign your volunteer time slips. There is one final packing night on Friday, November 18th at 6:00 until all the boxes are packed. Jobs: folding/taping packing boxes, unpacking and sorting donations, assembly line packing of the boxes, note card writing. Here is their website for more information:  http://operationiraq.org/

> StudentRND - Student Research and Development is a community of students who love to build cool stuff. "We encourage everyone to join in the community! It’s 100% free; we’re funded entirely by donations! Want to join in on a team to build something cool like our plasma speaker, robotic pipe organ, surface computer, makerbot, and more? You’ll gain valuable experience and knowledge, and most importantly, have fun! All of our projects are completely student-led." Check it out at: http://studentrnd.org/getinvolved/
>Honor Society Tutoring - We are looking for tutors. Meet in the choir room after-school on Thursdays. This is a great way to get service hours for tutoring. Stay 30 minutes and if there are no students who need help, you get a full hour that will count for your required seven in-school hours.

>Join SIFF Club - "SIFF club is a great opportunity to get ALL NHS hours in by the end of the year-our club sponsors monthly outings with mentally handicapped students, around 2-3 hrs long each and we'll have around 5 this year so all hours would be completed. Its a great way to get hours in and meet new people and get to know special education kids plus the club pays for all the outings. Our meetings are MONDAYS in Ms. Ewing's room"

>RHS Photography Club - Please contact Stacy Riley at stacynkids@msn.com or 425-883-7043 for more information.
